Sam and Jamie Kapu
Pastors / Worship Directors
Sam and Jaime met as performers at the Al Harrington show dancing and singing together every night for years. In 1995 Sam and Jaime both accepted Jesus Christ, and there the journey began. They were married on February 15, 1997. Giftings began to be evident pretty quickly. Jaime began to grow in her discernment and prophetic gifting as well as eventually using her gift as a hula dancer for Jesus. Sam immediately took to worship and praising God with his musical gifts. Sam and Jaime planted a church called Voyager Church Hawaii that they pastor to this day. Grounded in community and driven by mission, Jaime’s love and compassion for destitute children ignited a ministry that ministers to children in Hawai’i, Native American missions across the US and now, God has opened the opportunity to minister in Indonesia with children effected by sex trafficking and the Philippines helping ministries spread the gospel to those who hear it through God’s love. Using their love for Jesus and the Hawaiian culture, they present the gospel in a unique way that reaches the hearts of those yearning for salvation.
